Pinterest Inspired Challenge with MCT

Over at My Creative Time there is a Pinterest challenge.  This is perfect as we all pin many things, but rarely do them.  My friend and I recently decided we were going to have a baking day off of Pinterest as well.

Onto what I created.  I created a wreath for a friend who just moved into her first place.  We met in nursing school and became fast friends and study partners.

The site where I got my pinspiration from is http://livingwithlindsay.com/2009/11/librarians-please-avert-your-eyes.html#.

It is crooked, oops, not aware how to change it!
The pages I used were from a very old paperback drug reference book, shhhh...don't tell my grandmother who gave me the book!  I thought using this drug book due to our nursing was perfect.  I did paint the edges of the book as a whole before I ripped pages out, but they are yellow and barely show up.  For the base of the wreath I used a pool noodle wrapped in duct tape.  The pages can be rolled in any fashion and hot glued around in layers.  I now think this may be a bit bigger than I was thinking, but I still have a little pool noodle left to start a smaller one.  Thanks for looking.
